Speaker 2: When life gives you lemons

Erica Mackay

Bruno Braga

I have over 10 years of experience as a Cybersecurity professional, during which I’ve built and led teams for both large companies like CISCO and unicorn startups such as TrueLayer. In early 2023, I launched CyberSpartan Security, a consulting and coaching business focused on assisting both individuals and companies in navigating the cybersecurity landscape. This venture prompted me to become more active on social media and eventually led to the creation of my own YouTube channel. I believe in being a jack-of-all-trades and being capable of working amidst chaos in a world that is unforgiving towards comfort and stillness. When I’m not living the hustle life, I enjoy going to the gym, dancing, reading, and participating in social events to meet new people. Expect an insightful speech with several notes of deadpan humor.

Evaluators

Anna Andreeva

I’m honest. But also I’m polite. So my evaluations are (or I want them to be) as objective as possible. But also they are presented in a TM, friendly way.

Your job is NOT to help the speaker improve. Your job is to help the ROOM improve.

Hristo Simeonov

Hello, I’m Hristo, your workshop leader for today’s master class on the art of speechcraft. Inspired by my favorite quote, “Doing the right things is more important than doing things right. And we always strive to do the right things right,” we’ll practice precisely that. First, we’ll focus on ‘Doing the Right Things’—being on stage and delivering your message. Then, we’ll strive for perfection by gathering feedback and refining our speeches. Let’s get started!
